- in order to ensure delivery of an efficient and high quality repairs service to our customers we are looking to recruit into our Responsive Repairs and Voids team
- you will have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills and hold a full UK driving licence
- the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out joinery and general maintenance to our housing stock as part of our voids and responsive maintenance services
- you should have strong joinery maintenance knowledge, gained ideally within a housing/domestic setting, and ideally additional maintenance knowledge and skills in other trade disciplines

- participate in an out of hours service where required
- you will ensure all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of supervision to diagnose faults and deliver effective solutions to our customers
- to ensure that you are fully conversant and comply with all legal requirements of their work
- you will also operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of your skill areas
- work safely and in compliance with Trent and Dove’s health & safety requirements and regulations taking into account any environmental circumstances and possible risks
- to keep all items supplied by the company in good working order
- the ideal candidate will have a proven ability in joinery and hold a minimum of an NVQ level 2 or City & Guilds in joinery and preferably have qualifications in another trade discipline
- to comply with all relevant statutory procedures including assisting with the preparation of risk assessments, method statements and construction safety plans
- to undertake any training or qualification which the company considers necessary to allow you to improve your working performance, and to maintain qualifications legally required to carry out your duties
- 10. Responsible for advising the Supervisor of any stock requirements/shortages in a timely manner
