Responsibility
- looking for owner drivers and without van as we can provide vehicle
- family run business based between Ross and Hereford is looking for enthusiastic and friendly drivers who love to drive, with own or without a van, as we can provide vehicle
- communicate with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns
- adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
- safely operate a van to transport goods and materials to designated locations, about 2-3 collections and deliveries in a day
- plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and brakes
Requirements
- valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- proven experience as a van driver or delivery driver
- communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- strong organizational skills to plan routes and manage delivery schedules efficiently
- basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle inspections and address minor issues
- ability to lift heavy items and load/unload cargo safely
- familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns, using google maps or other navigation systems
