Responsibility

  • the teaching of pupil/s according to their individual educational needs and abilities
  • planning, preparing and delivering lessons to all pupils that are appropriate to their age and ability
  • assessing, recording and reporting on the development of pupil progress, attainment and behaviour
  • maintaining good order and discipline amongst all pupils and safeguarding their health and safety at all times
  • sharing in any possible and reasonable way the effective management, organisation, order and discipline of the school
  • working with the Inclusion Manager to develop Individual Education Plans , Individual Behaviour Plans and Individual Learning Plans
  • communicating, consulting and co-operating with other members of the school staff to ensure the best interests of all pupils
  • communicating and consulting with parents and carers to ensure the best interests of their children are being met

Requirements

  • teaching: 1 year
