- building strong relationships with external agencies such as Local Authorities and other Health / Social Care professionals
- conducting formal key work sessions with children and young people and produce records of discussions
- supporting our children and young people with everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, attending education, medical appointments and meetings
- building positive relationships with the children and young people in order to encourage them to participate fully in the opportunities offered within and outside of the home
- being responsible for the effective Safeguarding of the children and young people within our care and understanding how to raise any concerns through the appropriate channels
Requirements
- 21 years or over
- 23 years or over
- A full UK manual driving license
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- demonstrate an ability to engage effectively with children and young people
- computer literate
- willingness to undertake mandatory training as well as complete a Level 3 QCF in Residential Childcare
- support Environment: 1 year
