Responsibility
liaise with despatch & customers on all deliveries to ensure they are, wherever possible, on time in full
managing the online customer purchasing portal including keeping it up to date and responding to new enquiries
liaising with operations and marketing on all customer-related issues
generate sales confirmations and invoices and liaise with accounts on sales issues including checking payments
order stock as requested & book couriers
answer the telephone & meet & greet visitors, despatching collections to customers
communicating with customers on the phone & via e mail regarding sales and delivery issues, raising of new orders and progressing of existing jobs and general business issues
general H&S weekly /monthly checks
Requirements
ideally from a sales/customer service background, you will be a confident, hardworking, presentable, positive, and an enthusiastic individual capable of multi-tasking to complete many different duties daily
you will be a good listener, able to quickly understand and deliver customer requirements, be able to pick up new ways of doing things and the ability to use our management information system
you will need to be level-headed and patient under extreme pressure and able to work to very tight deadlines. You will be results driven and self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team
rate of pay: Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience
