Responsibility
- support internal users with any IT issues
- provide out of hours on call cover Priority 1 issues
- using your understanding of ITIL based support methodology to be actively involved in our problem management teams
- ensure process documentation is up to date and accessible to the Infrastructure Team
- impart and share knowledge within the Customer Services department to maintain knowledge levels and improve the teams performance
- be part of the growing and developing Infrastructure Team at Data Interchange supporting our own Data Centre hosting EDI applications and services and working in Azure as we migrate our EDI applications to Cloud
- form part of our incident management team ensuring timely investigation and fixes are performed to restore service in the shortest possible timeframes
- qualifications and knowledge
Requirements
- environments within Azure
- windows Servers
- strong troubleshooting skills and confident approach to remote and phone support
- TCP/IP networking
- ability to investigate issues in an analytical and methodical fashion
- in a Windows environment
- excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
- with good Networking experience
