Responsibility
- the main duties and responsibilities of the role will include assistance with –
- ● Legal research
- ● Preparing advice and protection strategies
- ● Conducting searches
- ● Advising on absolute and relative grounds
- ● Drafting technical specifications
- ● Filing trade mark and design applications locally and internationally
- ● Advising on and responding to examination reports at both local and international level
Requirements
- ● Upper second class Bachelor's degree with trade marks / IP module
- ● LL.M in intellectual property, inc. trade marks
- ● A good understanding of how businesses operate and extensive commercial awareness
- ● Experience working in IP and trade marks
- ● Given the size of our firm, you will be given a high level of independency from the very beginning
- ● Ability to work independently with exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- ● You must be a competent person – adhering to deadlines is key, so prioritisation and organisational skills are a must
- ● Ability to prioritise tasks
