Responsibility
- learning how to, and completing, structural design of new build nuclear structures, including for accidental situations such as seismic and blast
- developing skills to perform analysis of structures within commercial FEM packages
- you will join the recently created TRACTEBEL entity in the UK, with ambitious goals and exceptional projects
- coordinating and communicating on complex engineering problems between project stakeholders
- providing analysis and responding to queries originating from construction sites
- coordinate the transfer of design information to reinforcement detailers
- developing strong relationships and collaborating with clients and stakeholders
- the entity’s mission is to promote TRACTEBEL as a key player in the UK nuclear industry, alongside supporting and working in collaboration with our colleagues across the world
Contract type
- the contract is for a permanent role
Requirements
- programming skills in one or several languages are a plus
- master’s in Civil or Structural Engineering
- experience in the use of structural FEM software during your studies
- passionate about working in the engineering and nuclear industries
- proactive individual who can work collaboratively within a multicultural team
- agile and self-motivated, with a focus on improving personal and team performance and able to generate innovative outcomes to challenges
- you enjoy new challenges and are keen to learn
- you are willing to take responsibility whilst also wanting to support others within our team
