- diagnose and repair vehicle mechanical systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc
- perform routine maintenance work on vehicle engine and transmission to maintain vehicle functionality
- inspect vehicle to determine if any mechanical or electronic problems require immediate attention
- identify causes of failures and recommend repairs or replacement
- repair or replace broken parts when needed
- maintain accurate records and report on work performed
- advise customers on needed repairs and provide additional services
- proven experience as a Mechanic
- excellent knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and electrical components
- working knowledge of all vehicle diagnostic tools and methods
- ability to handle various tools and machinery
- good physical condition and strength
- high school diploma or equivalent; Certificate from an vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred'
