Requirements
- proven experience in furniture manufacturing, or relevant qualifications preferred but not essential
- good grasp of safe working practices in manufacturing
- ability to read drawings and take accurate measurements
- articulate and methodical
- physically able to lift and move finished furniture and panels
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- good eye for detail
- enthusiasm for furniture manufacture, and keenness to progress skills within an expanding company
Responsibility
- due to continued expansion, we are delighted to have a position available for the role of Wood Machinist/Joiner with immediate start available. Our preference is for an experienced machinist with a minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience
- the company is a family run business with over 30 years' experience in designing and manufacturing specialist furniture for challenging environments - mental health, learning disabilities, autism and Special Educational Needs
