Responsibility

  • total Waste Management Limited is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to join our team
  • daily coordination of the transport operation, to include drivers, vehicles & operatives
  • the ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and will be willing to learn and grow within the organisation
  • ensure legal compliance with current transport legislation
  • this position will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of all transport services, including scheduling, customer collections and deliveries
  • efficiently control accurate processing of paperwork and electronic data relating to the transport operation, using the systems provided
  • conducting toolbox talks and communicating risk assessments & transport procedures to drivers and operatives
  • minimising on-route vehicle costings through effective route management, using the support systems provided

Requirements

  • flexible, committed, and able to use your own initiative
  • able to remain calm and focused in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment
  • excellent communication and organisational skills
  • ability to build strong working relationships and work in a team
  • holding a Class 1 or 2 license would be desirable, but not impetrative
