Responsibility

  • formulate and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed targets
  • identify potential customers and generate leads through market research, networking, and referrals
  • foster and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers, delivering exceptional customer service and support
  • comprehend customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services to meet their requirements
  • prepare and present quotations, negotiate pricing, and successfully close sales deals
  • monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify business opportunities
  • collaborate with internal sales and marketing teams to develop effective promotional campaigns and materials
  • maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and the sales pipeline using the company's CRM system

Requirements

  • A proven track record of leading sales within the general logistics industry
  • proven track record of leading sales within the general logistics industry
  • A farming background or proven successful sales experience in agriculture is mandatory, as you will be responsible for the UK market
  • minimum of 5 years of previous sales experience, preferably in logistics sales
  • minimum of 5-10 years of previous sales experience, preferably in logistics sales
  • ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels
  • possession of a full UK driving license
  • self-motivated and driven to take initiative
