Responsibility

- fulfil the customers needs through company suppliers and booking systems adding additional ancillary products in order to exceed sales targets
- manage customer requirements from initial enquiry to completed travel
- regularly develop knowledge of all available products
- whilst maintain accuracy and consistency, formulate logistical itinerary plans and tour movement sheets, within client budgets
- ensure all steps are taken to complete the booking and retain the customer and to build your own customer portfolio
- manage customer bookings, including post booking activities
- manage client queries and travel arrangements
- develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our products and processes
- attend product training sessions and educational trips
- maintain accuracy when inputting and obtaining information
- employ various techniques, including outbound calling, upselling and cross-selling to maximise revenue generation
- identify and up-sell elements to enhance the customer experience and drive increased booking revenues
- use product knowledge to create a bespoke itinerary for clients
- develop relationships with customers to increase repeat business and recommendations
- focus on the management of group flight and hotel bookings
- through applicable system tools and software implementation, action all GDS and PNR tasks and company Desktop Files
- manage the booking process from enquiry to reservations
- collaborate with Destination Management Companies and Even Providers
- negotiate the best rates, on behalf of the client, to reduce expenditure
- to meet and exceed personal objectives, as set by your Team Manager
- produce itinerary proposals and quotes
- offer professional consultancy services to clients
- to meet and exceed the quality standards for call handling
- maintain regular contact with client and travel agents to ensure they are fully informed on the status of booking
- build relationships with internal partners
- abide by the company PSP, PCI and Anti-Bribery regulations and report any supplier gifts to the relevant management
- supply all quotes to customers with the agreed SLA's and in line with their requirements
- obtain pre and post travel feedback
- maintain flexibility in different priorities and clients
- listen to customer requirements and toiler the right holiday for them, spanning various travel methods
- aid the growth of the company through potential development leads and referrals
- follow up all outstanding quotes and options, ensuring no sales opportunities are missed
- stay updated with developments in the travel sector
- resolve any post-travel problems, including errors and discrepancies with suppliers
- achieve and exceed sales, conversion and quality targets
- provide regular updates on current enquiry statuses to the Sales Manager
Requirements
- minimum 1 years experience in a similar Travel Consultant position
- passion and travel experience

- this opportunity is paying up to £26k pa annum, plus fantastic benefits
- strong geographical knowledge - cities, airports , key landmarks, bucket list destinations/sights etc
- with the option to be fully remote and paying up to £24k pa for the right candidate
- paying up to £40k pa for the right candidate, this position is offering a hybrid opportunity within the London office
