Responsibility
- conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery and vehicles to ensure optimal performance
- diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
- perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle systems
- maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used
- collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working in the workshop or on-site
- keep the work area clean and organised, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored after use
Requirements
- proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred
- strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including engines, hydraulics, and electrical components
- ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively
- excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
- relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive or mechanical engineering are advantageous but not essential
- A valid driving licence is required for this position
