- we are offering a 3 week skills programme to help participants find jobs in the growing rail sector across South Yorkshire
- general groundworks including general labouring on sites with live train lines
- laying foundations
- road to Logistics is a Community Interest Company established with Government backing, to tackle the UK skills gap shortage in the Rail industry
- trough laying
- we are offering individuals the opportunity to train to be a qualified rail engineer, with a guaranteed interview with one of our rail partners in South Yorkshire
- walkway construction
- building retainer walls
Requirements
- able to commit to a face to face course Monday to Friday full-time for three weeks
- be actively looking for work and committed to starting employment after the course
- live in the Sheffield or surrounding areas
- have the right to work in the UK with a National Insurance number
- not be enrolled on other funded training such as an Apprenticeship, Higher Education
- physically able to do a fairly manual and outdoor role
- be aged 19+
