- safely and efficiently operate a 7.5-tonne delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- plan routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documents
- communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or concerns
Requirements
- valid driver's license with appropriate category for operating a 7.5-tonne vehicle
- proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle
- excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
