Responsibility

  • scheduling/planning routes whilst ensuring the fleet is compliant by monitoring all safety checks/inspections, vehicles are properly maintained, safely and profitability
  • downloading, analysing and flagging up any issues with digital card reports/information

  • MOT - ensuring the Transport Management Database up to date at all times and MOT all TMS company vehicles when required
  • parking notices - ensuring all parking notices are investigated and dealt with on time
  • out of hours - respond to urgent emails or other urgent operational requests out hours/over the weekend. This includes vehicle breakdowns or vandalism/theft/break-ins
  • tax – ensuring that the Transport Management Database is up to date at all times and taxing all TMS company vehicles when required
  • TMS Invoices - check all transport invoices and to contact suppliers and resolve any issues with overcharges or incorrect information

Responsibility

  • carry out specific routes collecting abandoned trolleys, from a range of environments, including parks, rivers and canals to name a few
  • carry out all manners of repairs, maintenance, installations and refurbishment to customer shopping trolleys and associated equipment when required
  • provide holiday cover on a rotational basis for other work colleagues
  • return trolleys to customer stores and liaise with the Store Manager where necessary
  • input accurate and timely information of collections onto hand-held mobile devices

  • you will also be required to spend nights away from home, covering jobs at various locations
  • you will be required to utilise a Sleeper Van when working away from home where a hotel is not available

  • oversee health and safety at the depot and ensure the correct processes are being followed, fire alarm checks, walk rounds, paperwork etc are being completed correctly. Ensure the sign in/out procedure is followed
