Responsibility

  • evaluate client's enquiry documents to understand the scope of works
  • correspond with the client and seek clarification over any omissions or conflicting documentation
  • obtain quotations for supply of materials and sub-contract elements
  • compile quotations inc. material, plant and labour costs for review
  • draft formal quotations, prepare documentation supporting our proposals
  • attend regular estimating review meetings
  • follow up quotation submissions - communicate with the client at various stages of the tender process and prepare quotation revisions as required
  • attend internal meeting once a contract has been won, assisting in handing the project over to the design, commercial and contract management teams
