Requirements

  • have a Level 3 or above in childcare and/or Level 5 Leadership & Management Qualification in Early Years and Education
  • A satisfactory enhanced DBS check which confirms suitability to work with children
  • relevant safeguarding and paediatric first aid qualifications
  • further training and updated refresher courses are all provided

Responsibility

  • liaise with the manager on a daily basis and in the absence of the manager to manage staffing levels and deploy staff where necessary throughout the settings
