residential conveyancer
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- oversee the successful running of your Conveyancing team in order to provide a quality conveyancing service to the firm's clients
- check freehold, leasehold, shared ownership and unregistered titles
- work on sale and purchase files
- ability to recognise complex issues
- work towards the targets set by the Firm in relation to monthly billing
- build upon and maintain good relationships with agents and other referrers
- act on instruction of and reporting to Partners and Head of Residential Conveyancing
- act in accordance with anti-money laundering regulations and quality procedures in accordance with the Office Manual
Education
- A-Level or equivalent
Requirements
- ideally be a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive
- at least 2 years’ experience working within a busy conveyancing team
- at least 1 year's experience of running own high volume caseload
- experience of working with panel referrers
- excellent client care skills
- good standard of literacy, numeracy and attention to detail
- pleasant manner, flexible and co-operative
- good time management skills
