Responsibility
- greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- take customer orders and serve drinks promptly and accurately
- prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- handle cash transactions and operate cash registers or POS systems
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service of alcohol
- provide excellent customer service, addressing any customer concerns or complaints
- collaborate with other bar staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
Requirements
- previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- basic math skills for cash handling and calculating drink prices
- knowledge of retail math for inventory management is a plus
- familiarity with food service, catering, or banquet operations is beneficial
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work well as part of a team
- knowledge of brewing techniques is an advantage, but not necessary
