Responsibility
- negotiating prices and fees from suppliers, whilst ensuring a positive relationship is maintained
- ensuring that the building, inc.alarm systems, lighting, cleanliness and the site security are effectively maintained at all times
- strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s health & safety policies and vision
- oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
- contribute to the design and layout and ensure efficient space utilization
- initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
- adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
- maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
Requirements
- 5 years minimum experience in Warehouse Supervision and/or Management
- qualified or Studying for Level 5 in Management Studies
- warehouse Management: 5 years
