Responsibility
- perform fabrication and welding tasks using various tools and equipment
- read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements
- fabrication of metal gates, railings, staircases, handrails, structural steel
- use plasma cutting equipment to cut metal accurately and efficiently
- build and assemble structures according to project specifications
- apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment or machinery
- operate a forklift to transport materials and finished products
- adhere to relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations
Requirements
- proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role
- proficient in using various fabrication tools and equipment
- strong knowledge of MIG welding
- mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery
- valid forklift operator certification is a plus
- ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately
- familiarity with relevant codes and standards in the industry
- MIG welding: 2 years
