Responsibility
- preparing accurate creative packaging artwork from approved designs and briefs supplied by clients and the sales team
- work with KASEMAKE AutoCAD software to produce packaging designs and samples
- developing artwork in line with our manufacturing print production machines
- create, design and produce corrugated samples using Kasemake packaging design software
- liaise with the sales team, suppliers, customers, and production staff
- purchasing print and cutting tooling from suppliers
- use Cape Pack software to create pallet plans
- managing and organising pre-production tooling with the production staff
Requirements
- educated to a high level in Graphic Design and/or experience within a similar or transferable employment
- experience working within corrugated packaging design
- experience working with packaging design
- fluent with Adobe Illustrator
- understanding of AutoCAD software
- passionate about design and creating better packaging
- understanding of software Kasemake
- strong creative outlook with a keen eye for detail
