Requirements

  • level 3 qualified in HGV Vehicle Repair OR can demonstrate proven mechanical experience on commercial vehicles and HGV trailers
  • minimum 1 year experience in a commercial workshop environment
  • ability to use diagnostic systems and fault-finding techniques
  • the company operates progressive learning and a skills-based pay scheme depending on qualifications and experience
  • work on own initiative in a fast-paced environment either independently or as part of a team
  • ensure that workshop standards are maintained at all times including the use of special and personal tools
  • support the development of apprentices
  • HGV License desirable but not essential

  • the role will also include generating various reports as required as well as general bookkeeping duties

  • manage the inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained
  • oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all shipments
  • provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with parts inquiries and orders
  • utilise systems for data entry to maintain accurate records of inventory movements and transactions
  • maintain a clean and organised warehouse space, adhering to safety standards
