- electrical/Mechanical diagnostics & repairs
- carry out pre-planned servicing & maintenance
- assist with roadside breakdowns
- road test / delivery of vehicles
- level 3 qualified in HGV Vehicle Repair OR can demonstrate proven mechanical experience on commercial vehicles and HGV trailers
- minimum 1 year experience in a commercial workshop environment
- ability to use diagnostic systems and fault-finding techniques
- the company operates progressive learning and a skills-based pay scheme depending on qualifications and experience
- work on own initiative in a fast-paced environment either independently or as part of a team
- ensure that workshop standards are maintained at all times including the use of special and personal tools
- support the development of apprentices
- HGV License desirable but not essential
- correctly and accurately upload all data/information onto Sage accountancy package and generate reports as required
- the role will also include generating various reports as required as well as general bookkeeping duties
- creating and maintaining supplier statement reconciliations
- creating and maintaining customer statement reconciliations
- daily bank reconciliations and ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct

- manage the inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained
- oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all shipments
- provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with parts inquiries and orders
- utilise systems for data entry to maintain accurate records of inventory movements and transactions
- maintain a clean and organised warehouse space, adhering to safety standards
- strong knowledge of warehouse operations and management
- proficient in data entry with attention to detail
- excellent negotiation skills to work effectively with suppliers
- familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on client satisfaction
- mechanical knowledge to understand equipment repair needs
- strong logistics skills to manage the movement of parts efficiently
