Responsibility
ownership of financial reporting for a number of Academies, including financial analysis, monthly management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting

collaborating with Principals and Budget Managers to guide them on the financial performance
control and challenge budget expenditure, identifying opportunities / risks to prevent overspend
effectively communicate financial information to non-finance staff within the Trust
key role in end of year annual audit along with in-year internal scrutiny checks
deliver reports/data to support the submission of statutory returns
Requirements
hold a recognised professional accountancy qualification
be comfortable working within a fast-moving organisation

have at least 3 years’ post qualification experience in a similar accounting position with a proven track record of frequent delivery of accurate financial information

Requirements
existing experience working within an HR environment or at HR Advisor level is a must
you will be an enthusiastic and proactive individual who works well in a team and is able to confidently and effectively manage a portfolio of HR casework
sound knowledge and experience of employee relations , with a thorough understanding of employment legislation, would be advantageous as this forms a large part of the role
