THINK SPECIALIST RECRUITMENT is looking for employees for positions:
credit control
Responsibility
- conduct a thorough review of debtors ledgers, addressing unreconciled differences and posting reconciliation adjustments as needed
- serve as a key contact for internal and external customers
- support credit control processes to collect outstanding debts following a ledger review
- assist in processing cash transactions, including maintaining cash books and performing bank reconciliations
- handle processing and payment of upfront payments, including VAT payments
- assist the AR/Cash Manager with ad hoc queries/tasks, including auditor queries
- support and cover the Sales Ledger Clerk in raising and distributing invoices
- understanding of core functions in a finance shared services department
Requirements
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently
- previous experience in a finance team in a transactional capacity
- willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities with a 'can-do' attitude
- experience in credit control and debtors management
- competent, efficient, and detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering quality output on time
- familiarity with Business World or other ERP software
- strong communication skills with confidence and credibility at all levels
- recognised accountancy qualifications are desirable
