Responsibility
- to make sure all the equipment used for Production is kept in good working order and safe to operate
- to contribute in the development of new products and production techniques
- to help when needed to assist in running new materials and processes
- to help closely with Health and Safety issues and also keeping up quality standards
- to maintain maintenance schedules and keep up maintenance check sheets as required and keep all written records up to date
- to help maintain all company buildings and works involved
- to provide maintenance and development of the company in cooperation with external service suppliers when needed
- to support production departments in overcoming technical difficulties
Requirements
- mechanical disassembly and reassembly – gearboxes/rotating machinery
- welding – MMA/TIG
- electrical – fault finding and repair
- pneumatic – repairs and replacement
- hydraulic – rarely required – checking and repair
- machining – lathe/milling/grinding
