Head Chef Rotherham
An exciting position has become available for a head chef to join our busy but very small team in our coffee shop/bistro in Wickersley, Rotherham.We have been in business here for seven years and the successful chef must be passionate, motivated and be able to bring creativity and skills from past experience.You must be able to work under pressure as we turn tables rapidly throughout the shift.The prospective chef must be able to bake cakes, pastries and desserts and cook a variety of hot and cold food to order.The chef will be expected to work alongside the junior sous chef and management in order to create and develop seasonal menus and dishes. The sous chef will also support the kitchen apprentices.This position is for a full time role working a rota that covers seven days a week. The work is predominantly day time hours. But evening work will also be expected during special events and bistro nights. We require our chef to work a five days per week. The hours are desirable and are rare in the chef community.Salary can be negotiable depending upon experience.We are looking to hire as soon as possible to ensure a smooth transition from our current head chef.Payroll is monthly and holidays are statutory.
