- previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential
- knowledge of food safety procedures and basic food preparation techniques
- strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- good communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- experience with guest services, including accommodating special requests and resolving issues amicably
- willingness to learn about menu items, wine pairings, and upselling techniques
