Responsibility

  • kitchen porter required to support a team of 4 chefs in a busy country pub/restaurant
  • there is no living in accommodation, and there is very limited public transport
  • the job is full time 5 days per week, but involves split shifts every day, therefore the applicant must have their own transport and live within 30 minutes from the White Horse
  • duties to include washing up, vegetable preparation, general cleaning duties, salad preparation and supporting the chefs at all times in any way necessary
  • you will be part of a close knit team who have to work together under pressure and friendly camaraderie to ensure that our customer satisfaction for food and hygiene remains at the highest level
  • uniform and training will be supplied. Full holiday entitlement. Share of tips. Hourly rate is shown for people over 21, younger applicants will be paid as per minimum rates for their age group
