Responsibility
- responsible for ensuring accurate data is recorded for national target requirements
- to support the achievement of the practices prescribing Quality and Outcomes Framework targets
- work with the PCN Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians to contribute to the IIF targets and PCN DES
- it is essential that the post holder exercises initiative and independent judgement whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality and diplomacy at all times
- in addition, the post holder is co-responsible for managing, maintaining and administering various data sources, which may include waiting lists, caseloads, or clinical reporting
- to participate in medication audits
- to prepare evidence-based resources and information to support the implementation of rational cost-effective prescribing
- to support the GPs to provide medication reviews, patient information leaflets, medicine awareness; and to undertake community visits as appropriate
