Responsibility

• preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software
• coordinating with colleagues as necessary
• contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed

• communicating with editors about layout and design
• reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary
• incorporating edits into final design
• following an existing template design that we have used for the past 2 editions and creating a digital PDF consisting of 100 pages including covers of compelling and eye-catching design
• bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
• experience as a graphic designer or in a related field
• demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• A strong eye for visual composition
• effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
