as a Junior Sous Chef at the George Vaults, you are at the centre of our award-winning bar and restaurant
this is a great opportunity to join our catering team who are responsible for delivering high quality food as well as developing new food offers and menus
our unique venue offers a variety of opportunities to demonstrate your skill and passion for all things culinary as we offer Breakfast, A La Carte and Set menus as well as private dining experiences, events and evening street food on a weekly basis
an adaptable and enthusiastic candidate would be an ideal fit for this position who is looking to take on new challenges and contribute to the ever-growing success of the kitchen brigade

Requirements
comply with all company policies and statutory regulations relating to Health and Safety, Hygiene, Cleanliness, Fire and COSHH
manage the preparation, production and presentation of food as directed by the Head Chef, ensuring a timely service is achieved
undertake any necessary training and attend team meetings as required to ensure expected standards are met and maintained
assist with costing and stock ordering/control when requested by the Head Chef
complete routine cleaning schedules and be accountable when compliance and audit checks are undertaken
maintain an excellent level of professionalism, hygiene, appearance and cleanliness at all times
strong communication skills with colleagues and customers. Always remaining polite and courteous in all interactions
