- the CPT is a world leading institute for metrology research based at the University of Huddersfield
- established in 1997, we have over 50 researchers and research students
- we are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Finance and Projects Officer, with a background in financial management and administration, to join our friendly Centre for Precision Technologies Administration team
- working closely with the CPT Manager, School Finance Office, and University Research Services team, you will be helping the CPT Manager and senior academics manage a number of budgets for current projects, along with supporting income generation activities such as carrying out costings for new bids or commercial activity
- this is a crucial role cutting across all of the CPT’s activities and you will have significant responsibility for ensuring timely and accurate collation of financial information in line with university policies and procedures
