Responsibility
- our nursery is located on Garvin Avenue in Beaconsfield, just off the A355 and close to the M40 Junction

- the Beaconsfield Day Nursery & Pre-School are seeking a Nursery Nurse to join the growing team on a Monday and Friday
- ensure daily that all resources, equipment, and environments are safe and suited for children’s age and stage
- engage as a professional member of the team, exhibiting a flexible attitude and willingness to develop new skills
- we firmly believe in order to provide the foundations needed to give children the confidence to reach their full potential, our role as early years providers is to facilitate and encourage independence through our philosophy of ‘opportunities without limits’
- provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
- ensure that company policies and procedures are read, applied, reviewed regularly and adhered to by all
- maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures
- follow risk assessments diligently and report all health and safety matters to management
- enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
- beaconsfield train station is just a short walk away and the nursery is situated on a residential area with street parking is available on the road outside the nursery
- ensure that each child’s individual needs are met and a high standard of professional care and education is delivered in a caring, safe and secure environment in which all children can play, learn and develop
- observe, assess and plan an interesting, stimulating and challenging range of early years activities which supports each child’s individual learning and development needs and abilities
- undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff and families
- to work closely with the Room Leader in ensuring a smooth running of the daily routine
- attend regular team meetings to ensure that you remain updated on key priorities, changes, developments and regularly review company policies and procedures
- we are open from 7.30am - 18:00pm and we would require you to be able to work varied shift patterns between those times on your working days which would be Monday and Friday
- ensure children are supervised and attended to at all times, maintaining appropriate staff:child ratios
- to liaise with nursery staff regarding children’s specific needs and requirements

Requirements
- full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification - Essential
- full and relevant Level 2 or 3 Childcare Qualification - Essential
- over 6 months' experience working in Early Years - Essential
