- ensure the ops manager is kept up to date on any issues such as training/overtime/targets/productivity etc
- to lead, manage and motivate the team
- continue to improve efficiencies without detriment to service
- provide encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks
- deliver training to the team
- communicate deadlines and companies goals with positivity and professionalism
- conducts team meetings to update members on best practices and continued expectations
- support Operations manager and perform management duties as and when requested and support the decisions of the business and help to move the company forward
