Responsibility

  • supervise, manage and direct team members when on shift and ensure all company procedures and policies are adhered to
  • oversee scheduling of team members and be able to quickly find replacements in the event of team member absences
  • allocating workloads to team members
  • monitoring and maintaining inventory and maintain a record of daily expenses, ensuring adherence to budget
  • training of new team members
  • adhere to statutory obligations and agreed guidelines, i.e. Liquor Licence
  • normal Barista/Barman/maid Responsibilities – preparation of all food and beverages; ensuring the café is clean and tidy at all times; maintaining good customer service and nurturing friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty
  • placing orders for new stock and handling the deliveries of said products, ensuring they are put away correctly
