Responsibility
- to be aware of Health & Safety, C.O.S.H.H Regulations and ensure they are carried out at all times
- to assist with the transportation and storage of deliveries and supplies to the home
- to carry out any additional duties as required by the Home Manager
- the Handyperson role is to provide assistance with general maintenance duties for the home and ensure that the grounds look both welcoming and well-kept throughout the year
- to maintain a high standard relating to the upkeep of the inner and outer buildings by undertaking general repairs, painting, decorating and general maintenance duties where required
- to be aware of Fire Procedure and Regulations. Checking fire alarms weekly, water temperatures and the essential checks. Completing of records and maintaining the appropriate records
- keep the shed, outbuildings and areas in which waste is stored in a clean and tidy condition
