  • operate power tools and hand tools for cutting, grinding, and shaping metal
  • utilise mechanical knowledge to assemble fabricated parts
  • work with sheet metal to produce components

Requirements

  • proficient in mig welding techniques and processes
  • experience with power tools and hand tools for fabrication work
  • mechanical knowledge to understand technical drawings and specifications
  • ability to weld using mig
  • familiarity with sheet metal work
  • competent in basic maths for measurements and calculations
  • capability to assemble fabricated parts accurately
