Responsibility
- the Stags Head Goosnargh is looking for a Bar Manager to join our team in Preston
- we are a small, family owned bar and grill with a focus on fresh food
- we have a fun, positive, and fun team that works together as a team
- oversee daily operations of the bar, including menu development, food preparation, service, and inventory
- our goal is to create an atmosphere where our staff can thrive and grow together as individuals
- ensure that all food safety procedures are followed at all times
- lead the training of new and current bar staff members
- ensure that all staff members are trained in proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Requirements
- minimum 2 years’ experience managing a bar or as a supervisor
- experience in the hospitality industry preferred
- experience in restaurant or food service management preferred but not required
- supervising experience: 1 year
- bar management: 1 year
- cellar management or at least working in a cellar required, as you will be moving & tapping casks, and dealing with keg beers
- hospitality: 1 year
- customer service: 1 year
