THE SPEECH THERAPY CLINIC is looking for employees for positions:

speech and language therapist

  • speech and language therapist

Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • provide clinically safe, effective, person-centred and evidence based speech and language therapy assessment and intervention for communication and swallowing disorders
  • work in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams across a range of clinical settings
  • deliver bespoke Telehealth interventions for SLT clients from home
  • able to work across a variety of clinical settings including inpatient, outpatient, community and deliver a telehealth service

Requirements

  • BSc/MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
  • RCSLT membership and HCPC registered
  • excellent IT and literacy skills
  • experience and understanding of remote/telehealth working
  • knowledge of various speech and language disorders and their treatment methods
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and their families
  • ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
