Requirements

  • A familiarity with medical terminology, specifically within the area of mental health
  • confident in working remotely without an onsite supervisor
  • attention to Detail: Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in transcriptions and data entry
  • organisational Skills: Strong ability to organise and manage large volumes of patient records efficiently
  • confidentiality: Respect for patient privacy and adherence to data protection regulations
  • advanced Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating smooth interactions within the clinic
  • time Management: Effective prioritisation and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibility

  • using our speech to text software to convert dictation into drafted letters
  • formatting and proof-reading, to a high level, of draft correspondence provided by clinicians
  • uploading patient notes and issued controlled drug prescriptions to the patient record
  • assisting the Medical Secretaries to follow up with clinicians, patients and insurers for responses, where needed
  • ensuring patient records are kept up to date by assisting with our discharge process for each clinician
  • providing additional cover during periods of leave / sickness / absence
  • you will actively contribute towards the overall development of the secretarial team and company as a whole

Requirements

  • an excellent grasp of the English language to ensure proof reading is carried out at the highest level
