Responsibility

  • we’re looking for enthusiastic, hardworking and friendly individuals to join our small team in the heart of Newquay as Bar Supervisors
  • having opened in Mid-July 2021, The Sink Inn is one of Newquay's newest venues, serving the best Cornish craft beer along with a range of cocktails, spirits, wines & snacks
  • duties will include supporting management as required, leading & motivating the team by example, opening and closing the bar, being a designated key holder, serving customers, cleaning and ensuring all guests receive a high standard of customer service
  • the role will start close to 25 hours a week through August and September and we will guarantee a minimum of 10 hours through the winter. It is a permanent 10 hour contract however the hours will increase with seasonal needs
  • candidates will ideally have a strong background in hospitality with a minimum of one year's experience in a supervisory/managerial role in a bar, pub or restaurant setting
  • we’re offering a competitive rate of hourly pay of £11.75p\\h with potential overtime available, along with a tip scheme, workplace pension, paid leave and 20% discount at the bar
