  • we’re a spacious, bright village pub with a stylish dining room, function room and a lovely patio on 2 levels
  • we pride ourselves on attentive hospitality and delicious freshly prepared nostalgic food
  • the Running Mare is a family run pub and restaurant that has been at the heart of village life in Cobham for over 30 years
  • previous experience and knowledge of supervising high volume hospitality operations with a busy food profile is essential
  • cobham is situated in a quiet, peaceful area with an abundance of outdoor space, and is extremely close to Surrey Hills area of outstanding natural beauty

Requirements

  • previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality management role is required
  • strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • proficient in using restaurant management software and POS systems
  • flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • supervising experience: 3 years
