Responsibility

• load allocated van check off correct merchandise
• drive to required destinations
• move client furniture if required

• measure and cut underlay
• fit rug and install rug to the exit requirements of the client
• offer expert advice on positioning of the rug if required
• give polite premium customer service that is courteous at all times; escalate any issues to the Logistics manager if necessary
• general ad hoc duties around the warehouse
• general maintenance of the rugs
• ad hoc maintenance around the London showrooms and office
• hanging new display rugs
• delivering stock between warehouse and showrooms or stock transfers between showrooms
• ensure your allocated van is keep clean and tidy always
• the logistics team ensure the smooth running of all The Rug Company deliveries and fittings to our clients. Assisting our sales team with all consultations at client houses ensuring a high level of customer service throughout
• following Health & Safety guidelines

Requirements

• clean driving licence at least 3 years
• knowledge and confidence of inner city driving
• previous experience as a delivery driver
