catering manager
Responsibility
- maintain effective operation of all food and beverage functions and events, delivering consistently high levels of service
- good communication with other departments to ensure effective daily service for our members and guests
- effective purchasing for both the Bar and Kitchen areas to continually, positively, challenge the profit margin achieved year on year
- that our members and guests are met with and consulted in the sale and organisation of food and beverage events
- effective rostering of staff to maintain a high level of service whilst meeting required budgeted targets
- own the weekly F&B operations plan to ensure continuous and profitable venue growth
- awareness of the Club dress code and endeavour to see that it is maintained
- work closely with the Club Manager and sub committees to develop marketing campaigns for the venue
Requirements
- at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- keen and enthusiastic attitude coupled with drive, energy and stamina
- ability to work under pressure and multi task
- they work with the Club Manager to effectively recruit new team members
- exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- all staff records are up-to-date, accurate and legally compliant
- computer literacy
- effective performance of team through regular meetings, appraisals and facilitating relevant training needs
