Responsibility
- the Roxy Collective board is seeking a freelance project manager/consultants with experience of working on complex historic community buildings
- advise on all aspects of the building project, including planning and building control
- works on behalf of the board during the project development and delivery of phase one of works on site
- work with the finance committee to manage project budgets and track expenditure for all strands of work
- ensure delivery within budget
- manage contracting and invoicing on a timely basis within budget
- ensure that expenditure is in line with the offer letters of the various funders, including the Government levelling up fund
- the consultant will support the board in managing the delivery of a first phase upgrade to the Roxy building in Ulverston and act as Clerk of
Requirements
- experience in working on complex community buildings
- knowledge of planning and building control regulations
- proven experience in managing building projects on site
- excellent budget management skills
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive and problem-solving attitude
