Responsibility
- to provide general admin duties such as answering the telephone, dealing with queries from patients at reception, checking that patients have signed their prescription forms and to collect levy money from those patients required to pay
- 11. You will on occasion be asked to undertake some audit work as and when requested by the Dispensary Manager on behalf of the Partners and the Practice Manager
- you will produce repeat prescriptions as and when requested by patients using the computer system and printer in the dispensary
- you will dispense drugs as directed by the Dispensary Manager, check orders from wholesalers and store drugs in the appropriate area in the dispensary
- 19. You will dispense controlled drugs and maintain records following the current Standard Operating Procedures
- 12. You will provide information to patients regarding the dispensary service or drugs provided. Opportunities may arise involving specific roles in patient education and health for which training would be provided as necessary
