Responsibility
- lead & coach the team on shift to ensure all areas of responsibility are met by the Team
- use initiative to confidently problem solve issues that may arise to manage customer feedback with empathy and a solutions-focused approach
- escalating issues to the senior team as required
- induct & support new starters and the completion of core departmental training
- as shift leader you will ensure all daily tasks relating to the restaurant, team processes, health & safety & compliance are carried out to the required standards
- delivers a “lead by example”, hands-on approach to restaurant duties
- manage our queue and seating arrangements to ensure we are maximising daily covers, whilst also managing customer satisfaction and expectations to our high standards
- work with the team to ensure the restaurant always look amazing, quality control of food & drinks is maintained to high standards

Requirements
- at least 1 year hospitality experience in a similar leadership role in a busy restaurant/café environment
- have previously held a position with key-holder & cash handling responsibilities
- ability to work effectively and efficiently whilst under pressure in a busy environment with a positive approach to problem solving
- you must be eagle-eyed when it comes to quality control and be confident to ensure standards are maintained
- have a love of food, speciality coffee, handle pressure like a boss, multi-task with ease and bring a positive can-do attitude
